Several County Roads in Paint Rock Valley are flooded...including Jackson County Road 20. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening, then eventually crest at 18.5 feet early Tuesday morning. ...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Alabama, including the following counties, DeKalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan and southern middle Tennessee, including the following counties, Franklin TN and Lincoln. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 600 PM CDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 4 and 9 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Huntsville, Madison, Scottsboro, Guntersville, Fayetteville, Rainsville, Bridgeport, Moores Mill, Meridianville, Redstone Arsenal, Hazel Green, Henagar, Stevenson, Sylvania, Cowan, Owens Cross Roads, Fyffe, Hollywood, Powell and Grant.
