* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Alabama, including the following areas,
Baldwin Central, Baldwin Coastal, Baldwin Inland, Butler, Choctaw,
Clarke, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Escambia, Mobile Central,
Mobile Coastal, Mobile Inland, Monroe, Washington and Wilcox,
northwest Florida, including the following areas, Escambia
Coastal, Escambia Inland, Okaloosa Coastal, Okaloosa Inland, Santa
Rosa Coastal and Santa Rosa Inland, and southeast Mississippi,
including the following area, Wayne.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains
and ditches may become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rainfall will continue through this evening with
additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches.

* WHERE...Shoal River near Crestview.

* WHEN...From Wednesday morning to early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 8 feet, Minor flooding of low lying areas.
At 8.5 feet, Water in yards on Sowel Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 6.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 8.5 feet Thursday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday
evening.
- Flood stage is 8 feet.
