...A gust front will affect Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL out 20 NM... Pensacola Bay Area including Santa Rosa Sound... Western Choctawhatchee Bay... Until 430 PM CDT.... At 347 PM CDT...A gust front associated with a dissipating thunderstorm was located along a line extending from near Shalimar to near Mary Esther to Navarre Beach...moving south at 15 knots. Locations impacted include... Mary Esther, Navarre Beach, West Choctawhatchee Bay, Fort Walton Beach, East Santa Rosa Sound, Shalimar, Fort Walton Liberty Ship Reef, Destin, East Pass At Destin, and Okaloosa Pier. The primary threats from the gust front are wind gusts up to 30 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until the gust front has passed.
