* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Panhandle Florida, including the following
county, Walton.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 428 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.1 and 0.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 4 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Eglin Air Force Base, Villa Tasso, Sandestin, Four Mile
Village, Miramar Beach and Gulf Pines.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
West central Walton County in the Panhandle of Florida...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 358 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Destin, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Eglin Air Force Base around 405 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Villa
Tasso.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
