- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 4.3 feet Friday
evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

- At 9:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 8.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.4 feet
just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
