The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Fire Weather Watch for a combination of low humidity, gusty winds, and critically dry fuels which is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Georgia, Coffee, Jeff Davis, Bacon, Appling, Wayne, Atkinson, Pierce, Echols, Clinch and Northern Ware. * TIMING...During the afternoon hours Tuesday 12 PM to 8 PM. * WINDS...Northeast around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Up to 76. * IMPACTS...Existing or newly ignited wildfires may exhibit erratic fire behavior, spread rapidly and become difficult to contain or suppress.
