* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pearl River near Bogalusa.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday, July 01.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river
will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be
inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 18.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.5 feet
by Saturday morning, June 27. It will then fall below flood stage
Wednesday, July 01.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.5
feet on 04/17/1951.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pearl River near Pearl River.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday, June 30.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lower portions of streets in River Gardens
Subdivision will begin to flood. Secondary roads to the river and
throughout Honey Island Swamp will remain inundated. Property in
the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes
along the left bank. The Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge will
be closed to hunting at the 15.5 foot stage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 16.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:00 AM CDT Monday was 16.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Tuesday, June 30 and continue falling to 13.2 feet Thursday, July
02.
