...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER POTENTIAL FOR RHODE ISLAND WEDNESDAY... Despite relatively light winds Wednesday averaging 5 to 10 mph, it will become quite dry with afternoon relative humidities dropping to 15 to 25 percent away from the south coast. When combined with the lack of recent significant rainfall and exposed fine fuels and leaf litter, elevated fire weather potential will exist on Wednesday.
