* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, There is extensive lowland flooding.
However no flooding has been reported in Muscoda in previous years.

- At 1:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.3 feet.
- Forecast...Flood stage may be reached Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest, and west central
Wisconsin, including the following counties, in central Wisconsin,
Adams and Juneau. In southwest Wisconsin, Crawford, Grant,
Richland and Vernon. In west central Wisconsin, Monroe.

* WHEN...From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An additional .5 to 1.5 inches of rain may fall this
afternoon into tonight as heavy rain is expected from
thunderstorms.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Banker Park and Campground in Viola
experiences significant flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:50 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 15.2 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
15.2 feet on 03/24/2011.
